ok, my friend has a 85 camaro with a 305 (306?) in it with MSD ignition, 3 inch catback, a B&M shifter and an aftermarket posi, what are my chances of beating him with my stock 95 gt AOD? what about with just 4.10's? what about with the 4.10's and magnapacks?

also, my other buddy wants to get a later model RX-7 and tells me that he'll smoke me, what are the odds of that one?

Not sure about hte Camaro, 305s aren't too quick.. do you have 4.10s? if not don't worry about if you'll beat him because you don't have them.

as for the RX7 it depends on if it's a turbo model or not.

 

it would be turbo RX-7, and i WILL worry about the 4.10's cause i'm going to install them as my first mod in the extremly near future

turbo rx7 would own j00 as long as the guy can drive it.

install the 4.10s and head to the track to figure out what you run.

 

ok well the reason i ask that question is cause i dont have a track close to me obviously cause if i did i wouldnt have to ask anything about 1/4 times , and what if the RX-7 was alot older, like pre 90's or early 90's? cause he's also about to buy one of those, to quote him actually "which ever I can find first"

 

I don't think it'll matter, an older turbo will still run 14s.

 

A Mustang 5.0 should definitely take that mid-80's 305, those things are complete and utter turds.
