The Stage 1 is not a V-6. They take a GT and put on cosmetics and the "Roush tuned Exhaust"....basically different tips. The handling package on a Stage 1 is nothing more than 18" tires and wheels. At least that is the 06 model.

All Roush and Saleen versions of the S197 mustangs are V8 powered out the door. Honestly...this is the first time I ever heard ofa V6 Roush.[&:]

yeah there are v6 roushs.. they're just not staged. Like the GT's....
Both Saleen and Roush with the exception of the S281E, are just tuned GT's NOT v6 shells. The S281E is a GT with a built motor....

like i said the NEW EDGE roush stage 1 is a V6, but i cant say anything about the s197. Since he said it was an 03 or something that could possibly be a V6 real roush. Not saying that it was but merely just stating the facts.
