I ran one that went 12.5.....too bad for him I went 11.8. Modded they move out really well, to a point and then they are hard to make much faster.

that blower and exhaust didn't sound stock. it SCREAMED. i could tell he wanted to go from a roll when i started slowing down, but yeah, my CEL came on and i was pulling into a gas station to make sure nothing major happened. there was a leak from my meth from where it goes into the throttle body when it was on the dyno. i was thinking maybe it came loose, but it was fine.

ORIGINAL: sstang

Aren't Lightenings like mid to low 13 second vehicles at best (stock, that is)?
There more like mid to high 13's. My dad has a basically stock one. It feels fast as hell from the torque from the eaton, but in reality it's nothing a bolt-on new edge can't take care of. By the looks of it, Nanaki raced a modded one.
It would take a full Bolt-On New Edge onDR'sto make it a drivers race from a dig(up to a 1/4) against a stockLightning, if theLightning has DR'sthough the New Edge should start praying[8D]...

yeah, i was always under the assumption that the car & driver times were mid 13s with a actual people running them in the occassional low 13.

My stock 2003 lightning best would run a 14 flat at 98mph in the quarter mile with alittle wheel spin. My friends 2002 WS6, some bolt ons, would beat me by a few car lenths. we would be side by side during the 60' and then he would walk me. Those trucks have some nice power but when you weigh 4700 pounds without driver, that sucks. To beat one, wouldn't surprise me if you have a 05 and up stang, or bolt ons, with gears for a 99-04 mustang. Unless it's modified.
