Ran a lightning a few days ago from 0 to about 85. He was cool and said my car sounded good. His truck SCREAMED. I could hear it over my exhaust no problem even though I was in front. I had him by a good 2-3 cars by 80. My CEL came on so I got off the throttle. Took my car in and I had a fuel spike or something. Can't wait until I get my new tank and pumps.

Aren't Lightenings like mid to low 13 second vehicles at best (stock, that is)?

There more like mid to high 13's. My dad has a basically stock one. It feels fast as hell from the torque from the eaton, but in reality it's nothing a bolt-on new edge can't take care of. By the looks of it, Nanaki raced a modded one.

 

yeah that lightning must have been modded, good run! i've been wanting to race one, stock that is!

 

I raced a modded Lightning last spring when I had less mods. It wasn't pretty.
