The Lightning flashed and the GT struck
We were out at our usual meet place last night. It was getting to where everyone had pretty much left. There was me in my Stang, my wife in hers, a friend of mine in an '02 GT and another friend in his beater. We were just standing around BS'ing.
A white Lightning rolled into the parking lot and parked. There were two guys in it and they just sat in the truck. We were getting ready to leave, so we all started our cars to let them warm up. Then, we heard the Lightning start.
After a few minutes we started getting in our cars and noticied the Lightning slow rolling towards the pkg. lot exit. I felt froggy, so I turned on the bottle.
Got out on the road(4 lane divided) and pulled along next to him in second gear, I heard the supercharger and exhaust as he got into it. I hit mine and he stayed pretty close until I shifted to 3rd. I put about 5 cars on him.
I slowed down and he got in front of me. Okay all of you Lightning peeps, you will know better than I, but underneath the truck looked a 4 link set up, I mean there were chrome moly bars everywhere. We caught the next light and I knew I was gonna get my *** handed to me on the launch. The light turned green and that frickin' truck launched. I spun real hard through 2nd, but made up some ground. We stayed pretty even until the middle of 3rd and I began pulling, by 4th gear I had about 2 lengths on him.
I know this is long, but I was so happy. It really made my night.

They are generally used in conversation to mean the same thing, but i think if you get technical about it, a blower can be a low psi power adder that increases air flow, while a supercharger increases air flow AND psi. I could be wrong though.

Sounds good to me. Anyway, moral of this thread....My bottle beat his supercharger....******Doing the "Happy Dance".
