yea they are ls1's i just think the race would be close especially if he was auto too. next mustang im gettin manual for sure- just didnt get it this time.

 

Intake and 93 oct tunecould definitely make it a drivers race at least. Gears would make the odds better for you. If the LS1 is driven to its potential.......you'll probably have to do better. Tires, LT headers, and 4.10 (or bigger) gears will be highly recommended. Since you're an auto........couldn't hurt to start looking at a higher stall.

I'm kinda guessin on this one because everything I know about the S197 centers around the manual trannies. Not sure how well the auto guys are doing.[&:]
