It all started a couple of years ago when I was stock. Theres are road leading out of the city which is nice and straight and it's about 2 miles long. As the light changed from out of nowere comes a 240sx turbo right hand drive car and he wants to go at it. So we were going at about a 30mph roll and we both punched it, he jumped ahead about a car and half and it stayed that way the rest of the race to about 100mph. [:@]That's the day that I decided to start modding the stang (no lie). I have seen this guy around town a couple of times but he's always been on the other side of the road or going the wrong way or whatever. Finally same light, same road I pull up to him on a red light on the weekend. He gives me the nod and we both nail it. Thanks to my 4.10's I just put in , I jump about 2 cars ahead of him to about 30-40mph were he starts to gain on me a bit ,but I was able to hold him off!! . I still got the ricer fly-by but who cares I finally got him!![sm=gears.gif]

Theres quite a few skylines here now, they all look beat up and abused but the kids are still buying them for around 10-12k.

 

There was a turboed 240SX over a year ago that kicked my *** when I had my 98 Eclipse GS(that's non turbo....I never raced it but figured the car was stock) and he straight walked me on the highway. I wish I can find him now[8D]....idk if I'll win but I won't lose like that[&:]

 

Ya I know I see them at the track in Calgary all the time, can you imagine trying to pass someone on the highway in that thing how the hell would you see? I guess some people wanta different car just to be different (as opposed to the hundreds of mustangs that are always at the track[8D])

 

I wanted to go to the track in Calgary this summer, when are your street legals? We have ours on friday nights starting in may (castrol/bud park). Maybe I can catch the flames play when I'm theresince we won't be in the playoffs this year!! [:'(]

 

Thats true the oilers blow this year, the street night is Friday it usually starts around 6:30 or so but there are always lots of cars there and it is hard to get in many runs but its always a great time, let me know if you are comming down we could have a couple of runs
