wow haha. Yea we are smarter because we didnt buy a damn ford lmao.

#1: the engines are named after the series followed by how many liters it is and followed by the version(jdm or usdm)

b=series,16=1.6 liter, a2= usdm a=jdm

#2: You ahve a 94 mustang gt. If you like your muscle cars so much then go get a real one. Something before 1980 please.... or maybe buy a better brand...something not made by ford. it's a shame that my 4 cyl can crush your overated v8's.
Like what ,Honda? Sure they make reliable cars......underpowered, boring to drive,...........but reliable

hondas arent made for straight line performance. I'm not going to lie I'm stock motor with bolt ons...intake,header,exhaust, and reflashand my best 1/4 mile is 14.5 lol. But my car shines in the turns where mustangs def do not. And for me it is just the opposite. I enjoy the twisties so my car is a blast to drive.My buddy has a 99gt with some mods and he enjoys that...to each his own.

How much money did you spend on your engine?

I dont see how an 02 Civic running 14.5's crush our v8 Mustangs. But then again, after I get my header and tune for my Celica I'll be hitting low 14's to high 13's, so I'll be crushing your 4 banger with my 1.8L 4 banger.

i've beaten MANY nearly stock 98 and under mustang gt's. From a roll it's a lot easier for me as well due to the front wheel drive. I have a ****ty motor honestly. I wish i had the same motor as the type s...i would be hitting 13.4's with my same mods

it's ok though...like i said my car is built for twisties.

soon i'll be swapped

He means on the twisties.....Honda is'nt the first car make that comes out of a car enthusiast mouthwhen it comes to handling....I can see you argument if you owned a Beemer M series,350Z, Corvette,even aS2000, but a Civic?

Pre 99 GT's I can see that with your mods and times. And you might hit a 13.4 with an RSX-S motor. My friend has an RSX-S with intake, header and exhaust, his best time in the 1/4 mile is 14.1, but your car is alot lighter, so with a tune I can see around mid 13's.

hondas are made for turning. i've beaten porsches much faster than me just because of my turning ability.

honda hatchback completely gutted, battery relocation. 2.5" drop with performance struts. x braces and 3 struts bars and a harness bar = amazing handling. The honda civic type r's are autocross monsters and have always been considered this way.

Youmust not know about the Celica GTS. It has 180bhp, which most dyno around 160 to the wheels, and it only weighs 2500lbs. I have one with exhaust and intake and it has gone 14.7 in the 1/4 mile, so yeah. And Iknow a few guys with exhaust, intake, header and tune running high 13's. The CelicaGTS and RSX-Srun about the same times stock, but theRSX responds just alittle better than the Celica GTS.
