So the only v8 cars you can crush are the stock 96-98 mustangs and your going to brag about that?
To bad stock they are dogs.
What do you have done to your car(peformance wise)and what do you run in the 1/4.

i've beaten MANY nearly stock 98 and under mustang gt's. From a roll it's a lot easier for me as well due to the front wheel drive. I have a ****ty motor honestly. I wish i had the same motor as the type s...i would be hitting 13.4's with my same mods

it's ok though...like i said my car is built for twisties.

soon i'll be swapped
Pre 99 GT's I can see that with your mods and times. And you might hit a 13.4 with an RSX-S motor. My friend has an RSX-S with intake, header and exhaust, his best time in the 1/4 mile is 14.1, but your car is alot lighter, so with a tune I can see around mid 13's.
14.1 is not a bad time. is it a raceheader or a regular shorty? tell your friend to get kpro and a tune and some radials and run himself a 13.6 if he can drive.

yes my car is quite a bit lighter since its gutted and its lighter in stock form by 100lbs. My stock tires are killing me though

hondas are made for turning. i've beaten porsches much faster than me just because of my turning ability.

honda hatchback completely gutted, battery relocation. 2.5" drop with performance struts. x braces and 3 struts bars and a harness bar = amazing handling. The honda civic type r's are autocross monsters and have always been considered this way.
I can see you beating alot of cars in the twisties basically because of what you've done to your car. Being that its a hatch, gutted, and tons of suspension mods. But stock for stock, you still couldnt beat a Mustang GT in the twisties, nor a straight line.

I dont see how an 02 Civic running 14.5's crush our v8 Mustangs. But then again, after I get my header and tune for my Celica I'll be hitting low 14's to high 13's, so I'll be crushing your 4 banger with my 1.8L 4 banger.

what kind of celica...i doubt u'll hit anything close to a low 14 with header and tune. i call bs to your 160bhp car

Youmust not know about the Celica GTS. It has 180bhp, which most dyno around 160 to the wheels, and it only weighs 2500lbs. I have one with exhaust and intake and it has gone 14.7 in the 1/4 mile, so yeah. And Iknow a few guys with exhaust, intake, header and tune running high 13's. The CelicaGTS and RSX-Srun about the same times stock, but theRSX responds just alittle better than the Celica GTS.
i was hoping you had a gts haha

interesting...i'm dynoed at 175whp and 147 torque. i weigh 2650lbs

LOL, all those suspension mods and few performance mods, but still stock tires? You definately need to upgrade them tires. He can drive, hes taking out many 99-04 GT's that are stock, anda few with mods, but they were auto. His next mod is either a K-pro or Hondata. And he has a race header.

i dunno...i had an intake, drop, and drag radials and I beat my friends 99gt without him spraying nitrous. he was on drag radials too but couldnt handle the turns. I'm also a decent driver though so i dunno

How and the hell does a 160bhp car that dynos about 140 to the wheels gain 35hp just from exhaust, intake, header and a reflash?

yes hondata is the maker of kpro. I use them as well. Awesome stuff. I have nice tires on my auto-x wheels but i dont use them for winter. stock tires for the loss

Alot of people say the Mustang has sh*tty handling, but if you can drive you should be ok in the twisties. The power the Mustang has over your Civic will give it some help, but the driver is the key.
