i thik the 03s came with 215 or somethig...the o4s came with 225 or 235s

 

yes, 04+ came with 230 and LSD....but beware, those numbers are probably underrated (just like the Cobalt SS)

 

but the srt4s are actually fast when modded...the stage 2 slowbalts arent.

 

I beat stage2 modded SRT-4 (intake, tune, exhaust, DRs) by a fender. i cut better 60' and i kept the lead untill i missed 4th gear and he came right next to me and we finished. I put my bumper on him but he ran 13.63 @ 100+mph and i ran 13.66@ 93mph (due to missed gear) Video is in my signature.

99-04 GT /LT1 f-body = srt-4s 05+stang GTs are faster. auto would be ver very close maybe dead even but manual would walk on them and put a few cars.

 

so how wouldi hold up against the different stages?

 

stage 1= no problem. stage 2=screwed stage 3= dont even ask.

 

ill say again...ive seen a very well driven, very lightened up stage 1 run in the high 12s...most of the stage 2 cars ive seen were in the high 12s or low 13s.

 

04's come with upgraded ecu's, while the 05's come with upgraded injectors, which is why it is cheaper to get stg1 for the 04-05 models.(if I can remember correctly when my friend bought his stg 1 or his srt4

when working for dodge, the kits did not differ for the different years...i think that they are all a flash and injectors.
im guessing that at 20psi, he was also running race fuel of some sort? that is pretty fast for a stock weight car...is it lightened at all?

Stage 1 or the 05's was only the ecu. The 04's stg 1 is the injectors. 03's is the injectors and ecu.

It spiked around 20psi and fell to around 18psi at redline. I road in his car during multiple highway races with ls1's. I remember when there was 3 people in his car(me in the back) he pulled a ws6 w/ boltons from a 40mph roll. I rolled down the back window(limo tint)(****in lame non electric windows) and waved.... you should have seen their faces lol

srt4's should not be taken lightly. From a roll they are MEAN. I still would never own one because of how bad the torque steer is in fwd cars.
