how fast are srt-4s?
I have raced two different srt-4s one was basicly bone stock and the other a stage 2. The bone stock was a slaugter from a dig but from a roll was less than a 2 car win. The stage 2 was same story from a dig but whoa from a roll 2nd gear he got a half car by 4th 3 maybe 4 car lead then we both shut down. I have to say though im a professional driver and from a dig its not very fair to compare me and my car versus most.

LoL, I should Hope a Procharegd LS1 or even an 03 Cobra could take the 4 door Dodge. I Have alwasy been a Mustang Guy, I've owned a few including a Thunderbird with a Cobra engine...No doubt i love them, and dont get me wrong, But and 03 Cobra! That has been my dream car for a while and if you missed a gear and still lost, somethings wrong there. The SRT was heavily modified, or something else. Andsomeone else said srt4<99 GT.....well, I think i remember reading you had 410s...thats a big difference considering the downfall to the SRT is its front wheel drive and cant connect even stock in first gear. I Traded in my Modified 99 GT for an 05 SRT...Broke my heart,Yes, But it is a very well put together car...I still have a 03 GT that gets walked by my SRT stock....the only Mustang stock for stock ive lost from a dig was a 04 Cobra...It was rather pitiful...From a 20 mph roll i was losing by 2 cars by 3rd gear and he was still pulling,so did a bit better there. And for the stage kits, a stage 0 with enough bolt ons can beat a stg2....but generally stock for stock stg 1 seems to do even if not a bit better to stg 2 for some reason. stg 2 just ups your fuel, allowable boost, redline, etc. Im not on here to bash anyone, so dont get that impression, i love both mustangs and my little SRT...but before some people on here start talking trash look at power/weight ratios. I have heard new GT mustangs are even with 04/05 SRTs stock, and have also heard they're slower...I ahve not tested this myself, therefore i dont go talking smack about being able to beat them. My stock Stg 0 SRT ran a 13.8....STG 1 SUPPOSEDLY drops you into low 13s....we'll see when i get it. Anyone can say they're stock and be running a stg 3, If someone doesn't know about it...they wont notice it. Nobody starts a race to lose...and peeps shouldn't get bent out of shape when they do lose, there's always someone faster. Im sure i'll get ripped for this post for some of the more ignorant individuals here, but i hope many of you will understand where im comming from in a mature way. New Musatrngs and SRT-4s run similar times....altitude, temprature, track conditions all play a factor...one day a SRT may win, the next may lose...If you want to win, modify your car so you will.

Like how i brought this one back eh?
Very true, Its Difficult to drive correctly with so much power out of a FWD...But there are those who are good drivers, and bad, regardless of the vehicles they own. I find it easier to get a good launch out of my mustang than in the SRT, Possibly cause the obvious RWD and lower WHP. I have learned one thing for sure though...Never start with an SRT at 65 MPH....lol...My Mustang was back 3 cars 1 second into the drag.....60mph...Mustang held on for about 3 seconds before a slow and steady pull away by the SRT...wanna **** off an SRT??? Start off at 55 ish...lmao. Too High for 2nd, and real low into 3rd =)
