I dunno if the 350 is so good in the twisties...it lost to an x runnerlol..i dunno how they rigged that

 

Oh god, where is macdaddyslomo when you need him. I argued with that toolbag for like 20 pages in a thread that ended up getting deleted about how I thought the rotary engine was complete garbage and how the RX-8 was a total waste of money.

Own that RX-8 my friend, you shouldn't be allowed to talk **** when you drive a slow car that costs way too much for what it is =P

 

The guy in the RX8 probably passed u while you were still parked in the parking lot...........then claimed it as a kill. Don't laugh, u know someone out there has done it.

I agree with alot of ppl here, the RX8's do have a nice look to them......but where is the factory turbo model????

 

what do those things run anyway? i know they have to rev to like 90,000 rpms to make any power...and have less torque than an rc car...

 

i think they're like high 14 second cars. for a 35k sporty car, i'd rather be in the 13s.

are you kidding? I think the rx-8 is ugly compared to the rx-7's... but I think the newer rx-7's are one hot looking car.

i don't think you guys realize the problem with the RX-8 isn't the engien or car, it's the TC system. it cuts power when the tires slip. when you bypass it, it makes it a completely different car. like going from a 15? rwhp dyno to just over 200 rwhp. from a re-flash.

 

no matter what the cars arent going to be that fast... like people have said before, they have absolutely no torque

 

A buddy of mine had one.. he will beat the RX8, as long as he doesn't race him in this twisties... that car was made for curves.
