So a guy that works in the shop next to mine has a friend w/ an '05 RX8 (6MT). My supervisor was talkin' to the guy, and he asked my sup if he worked w/ someone who had a silver 350Z. He was referring to me, of course, and my supervisor told him yeah. The guy then proceeds to tell him how his friend w/ the RX8 raced me out on the highway and "slaughtered" me. Now I don't if it's him, or the driver of the RX8, but somebody's full of ****. I gotta kick out of it, so the next time I see this red RX8 running around, I'm gonna destroy that damn thing. I mean an RX8, come on. That's like me saying I beat a Terminator in my Z. Even IF (for some crazy) it did happen, I prob still wouldn't tell anyone for fear of getting flamed, lol. Any of you guys had someone say **** like that about you???? I think it's pretty funny.....[&:]

 

i get that on occassion. like in a parking lot "i'll smoke that stock GT", but smiles turn to frowns shortly after i fire her up to leave.

 

yea man those RX-8s are pretty slow. nice lookin car though, one of the coaches at my school has a black one. mazda really screwed up-made a car all show no go

 

the rx-7 was so much better imo, but thelines and thelooks of the rx-8 are a littlenicer.

 

If the RX8 was a two door, w/ a more sloping rear and was a hatch-back like the RX7, it'd look awesome. As it stands now, I think it's kinda chick-ish styling. And it is in definite need of more power.

 

I like the way they look but, DEF. smoke him. Even try to set up a race and smoke him.

i hate the RX-8's. i think theyre ugly, theyre slow and theyre WAAY overrated. japanese junk is what i call 'em. i hate 'em. i hurt ones feelings one day. i mean, HURT. serves him right...rev at me. little bastard. he wouldnt pull up to me at the next light

 

Yea SC you should race that idiot in the rx8........dont forget to record it

 

Just don't race a RX8 in the twisties.. it'll eat up me, you and the 350, lol. and we all know the 350 platform has really good suspension.
