American sports cars are my favorite brand of sports cars. But what American sedan is better than a Maxima; the taurus, the stratus, alero, I don't think so. The 3.5 liter Altima is faster and lighter than the Maxima.

So I go home and my parents have purchased a 2005 nissan maxima. Of course I hop right in and take 'er for a drive. The engine is surprisingly not slow. It supposedly makes 265 hp stock which isn't bad for a v6'r. They have the auto version which supposedly runs mid-high 14's in the quarter. Sure it's got nothing on my mustang in the quarter, but it wasn't bad to drive. While I don't really like import cars, it was good to see the parents going for a car with more power, maybe i've started a trend within the family

I would sneak a 100 shot of nitrous on it if I were you. Then their @$$'$ will really bite the seat and it would probably run low 13's! LOL

i thought it was 275 HP . Oh well my unlce has one and has a CAI and upgraded the tires but its still not as quick as the stang but those things are sick. the interior is MUCH NICER! he let me drive it and was like "see how much it pulls, its real fast. i have beaten a few cars on the highway.... blah,blah,blah" so i said here hop in my car. he gets in and goes "holy ****, thats only 260 HP" and i go "yeah, but thats the stock numbers"
anyway he was really impressed with the sound system, he asked who put it in and i told him FORD did seeing as it is the stock Mach 460. but yeah i love those things. real nice cars.
