There was no WRX in the states in 2000, so it was probably an 02-03 model year "bugeye." Stock boost on a WRX is ~13.5 psi IIRC, so upping it to 14 isn't going to make a huge difference. That kid was probably just an idiot who had no clue about his car. Good job putting him in his place

haha i didnt know that....he tried to tell me he timed it in the 1/4 mile(stoplight to stoplight) with a stopwatch and it did 11.5 seconds and i laughed in his face and said BS
another tried to tell me he timed his 06 wrx from 0-120 and it took 13 seconds....
in both of these guys defense they were both HAMMERED *** drunk...not when i raced but when they were talkin.

Yep, that's an 02/03 body style WRX... called a "bugeye"
They were known for their weaker transmissions when compared to the newer models or the STi, so if he's banging the gears quite a bit, don't expect it to hang with you at all in the future [8D]
