No I never dumped it as in, just completly letting go of the clutch. I know thats hell on the car and will just spin my tires off.

I always just released quickly, I think my issue is that when I was letting the clutch out as soon as I started taking off I would lay into the gas, before even having the clutch completly out but most of the way. It's just like an instinct to me I guess that when I am letting out the clutch to give it more gas, and when im racing you have to go fast so I do the same process... Just faster, so I guess it's laerning to discipline myself not to punch it until im out of the clutch.

A 1.8 on non drag radial nittos would be almost impossible, espcially on a stock suspension setup.

With all the goodies and moderate traction at the track I only went 1.90 and 1.91 with 315/35/R17 drag radial nittos...
