Now before I get in to this one I have to tell you...nearly everytime I get on the FWY or streets I run into some Vin Diesel wanna be with a underpowered car and sub par driving skills to match...When will it end? So I usally don't post those kill stories because they are pointless and common. But every now and then I run into a worthy carwith hopefully the right driver to extracta good amount of the cars performance. Hell, I still haven't seen what this car can do. After all..."A street driver is seldom able to extract maximum performance from ANY car. Many folks initiating impromptu street races choose their favorite spot or initiate the competition on their terms (sweet spot in a particular gear etc). This does not give an accurate representation of overall performance"-(anonymous) So today I ran into asky blue M6 coupe. It was lowered and had a nice blackout kit...and a very ferocious exhaust tone. It looked damn good! So we were on the 110 fwy goingsouth heading out of Pasadena...and if you haven't been on this part of the FWY, let me tell you..it is a lot of fun. It has alot of twistys and nottoo muchtraffic before noon. He sees me and goes by me kinda fast and then gets on his brakes...that lets me know that he was not in a rush but more so throwing his hook out there for me to bite...so I godown tothird gear and blast past him at about 100 or so.So he punches it too and off we go through the turns and what not...he was a good driver and stayed pretty damn close to me until we passed Dodger stadium and the FWY straightened out.[sm=forgetit.gif].it was fun while it lasted for him and I pulled a couple of bus lenghtsrather quicklyand watched him get smaller. So I slowed down and wanted to give him, thumbs up for giving me allI could handle in the turns but he got of the FWY and a short time later. That made my day. I thought I would share it with you guys...
