Yea, i heard the Tranny's cant take the power. Dont the SE, GT, and GTP all have seperate kinds of tranny?

Ya I don't think they are the same, but there is a very large aftermarket for gtp's, so if your tranny does go there are alot of options to help you hold the power....they are pretty good cars overall I am really happy with mine for a daily driver

I have a GTP and there are a chunk of mustangs out there that are no contest, im running mid 13's with minimal mods, a 3.4 setup will put u to atleast 13.8 and a little more can put you to 13.4-5's My GTP club rented out norwalk this past friday, we ran 20 GTP's for 4 hours, and had people run as low as 12.5 with intercooled cars running dr's/slicks. GTP's shouldnt be overlooked, theyre awesome! Just dont get overcarried away and put into much boost, ull get KR and end up messin things up! The GTP do have different trannys, they will handle up to about 300 crank HP before u start having problems. The aftermarket is big so check out

killed a mustang 5.0 with a chunk of money in it, i did it consistantly and had less than 500$ in mods to my car. of course, 500$ was only enough for a month then i wanted more! -Jon

Same w/ mine, but i dont think i wanna keep doing that mabey just a 1000$ set ofAFR's,a 650 DP, and a set of DR's for the mustang to finish it off) then a little in the GTP for tuning to get lower 13's, then a NOS shot for 12's just at the track -Jon

At the :31 sec of the video, he ran 14.2 w/ gears intake tune n some others, all night he couldnt break into the 13's, ive changed my setup since then and now consistantly run run high 13's and ocasionally mid 13's( because of avg 2.1 0-60 foots) w/ street tires -Jon
