Bench racing with dyno #'s
One of my buddies just got back his Nissan 240 with Sr20 swap and upgraded turbo and built motor. He is pushing 465rwhp & 320 rwtq. His HP and TQ curve of the dyno doesnt hit 300 hp/tq til about 5K rpms. The Tq curve stays at about that til his redline which is 7500 rpms. His HP curve rises from 300rwhp to 465rwhp from 5K to 7500K rpms.
I just got back my car from my intercooled vortech setup. I have every bolt on besides cams/heads. Stock internals. We are planning to run from a dig at the track and probably some highway runs too. His car is really light, prolly 2900lbs. Mine is prolly 3100lbs with the weight reduction i have done. Do I stand a chance against him in a race from a roll or dig? We are both equally as good drivers. Here is my dyno sheet: (Disregard the numbers in RED, they are old numbers from December with a bigger pulley. The new numbers are in BLUE.
