Me Vs. 335 Ci
Hey everyone, I know this isn't street/strip,and I figure the fellow 4.6er's would like to hear the results. Tonight was my second run in with a 335 Ci. For those of you who don't know, it has a DOHC I6 thats twin turbo'd I believe ( I know for a FACT it has at least one, and I'm pretty sure its a twin). I had a passenger who is 220, im 240, and like a 1/4 tank or less + bald Sumitomo's lol. This guy had a passenger also, and didn't seem to mind running it hard ( still had the dealer tags on it). From our first dig, I put his front bumper close to my front fender through 1st and 2nd, and then when we hit 3rd he started pulling on me pretty well. From a roll at like 45/50 it was even till 3rd again, then he started pulling. We raced probably 5 total times, all the ending the same way. I have a midpipe/catback and negative tires, and I can see me walking it with gears and some DR's. Down low the GT will be right with it, but when it's top end picks up, it picks up..
I have all of the respect in the world for bmws. My uncle has a 98 m3 and recently put on the supercharger, full exhaust, and computer chip, and its pushing 400 hp, by far the quickest car ive ever been in. How do the 335s stack up compaired to the m's
