you do understand that your car is NO WHERE fast enough to beat an LS1 car, unless its either parked, towing a trailer, or not trying, right? the WORST running ls1 f-bodies that i have seen at the track were still a few tenths faster than your BEST time, and add in things like your rims...youre driving a low 14 second car. you REALLY need to get to a track with that camera and prove me wrong, or face the reality that your 14 second car wont beat a 13 second car, unless you have modifications that youre not telling us about...or unless youre using the extra high hp decals..
your car looks nice, and sounds nice...and thats about it. the trans ams had to have been stock LT1 cars...the GTs would have to be 04s or older, if that..and the S2000s, good work...you did list one that is realistic. every cobra built, ever, since 1993...in stock form, well maintained, should be very capable of running in the 13s, which is a stretch for your car. a V6 will keep up with you, especially when they run similar times...but like i said, go to the track with the video camera and the car in street trim, and prove me wrong. if you go out and run a 13.40...i will admit that you might have a chance against any of the older cobras, LS1 cars, and GTs.

It's great to see the 4.0 getting some respect in this thread! All I have is an intake, exhaust, and tune, and my best run was 14.6--after I lost some weight.(removed the backseat, and spare tire, and only an 1/8 full gas tank-I improved .1withthat.) I'm an automatic, by the way.

Rotm...you know your stuff...and you do know alot about MOPAR and Dodge products...but your well...underestimating my car! Thats a fact...I never been to the 1/4...im not here to prove you wrong..so I wont get started. I cant speak for all chargers because all I have is one of them, I know what mine does/did/will do.

Dude you have to understand how heavy the chargers are compared to a Mustang. The chargers are fast for what they are and deff have some power.
But if they were alot lighter theyd be alot faster.

I understand that they are heavy I know that...and I am doubting it...but mustangs are not so light either for a 2 door car...
I am not tryin to be the fastest car in the world, not possible with the charger...but the engine is amazing in some aspects.
Noone ever said that I dont show v6 mustangs respect, but when you compare a 6.9 0-60 vehicle...to a 340 hp engine...I dont know...just doesnt sit right with me...
lets say I created a thread that my last car...pt cruiser...0-10 seconds, said that from the start I got 2 car lengths on your 4.0 mustang...would you not say something?
The v6 is not bad for that car...

ROTM...not starting anything...and matter fact thanks for the comments on my car...my exhuast is Borla...only thing about it, is that when not moving you bearly hear it...me being 21...sound is a big issue...
But...I am not trying to be one of those guys that has a car, that thinks he can beat everyone...I know what cars I have beaten...I never been to the 1/4, I will make it out one day...

im not trying to say that your car is a slouch...i would imagine that it has to be one of the quicker big sedans in the US, and if you remove the BMWs and Benz's, it is probably atop the leaderboard, but those cars youre talking about *should* be faster...
