is this thing fast?
well my brother in law has a 99 jeep grand cheroke with the v8, he tells me that it will beat my 07 gt in the 1/4 then i said are u sure bout that, then he says well in the 1/8th it will but then the gt should take it. he also says the jeep has 320 hp he has a cai on it. i know if it does have 320 i shoudl still kill it because of the weight. so whats up is this thing fast or what. i think i should kill it.

You will kick his *** so bad. Not meaning to talk bad about your Brother-in-law, but if he is really serious, he is smoking some potent crack. Maybe the new Jeep SRT-8's would beat you, but not his slow *** 99 Cherokee. Make him put like $200 bucks on the race. I couldnt find any times for the 4.7L v8, but the 4.0L 6 cylinder runs 0 to 60 in 9.1 seconds, so the v8 probably runs about 1-1.5 seconds faster. And the v6 weighs just under 4000lbs, so they dont weigh as much as you would think. And the v6 comes with 195hp.

but this guys has NOTHING to worry about... unless he doesn't have any legs.. in which case he could probably floor it through first... get up look around... crawl back on the floor boards... hit the clutch and go into second.... floor it through that... get up look around... crawl back down and shift.... and he would still beat the jeep [8D]
