Ok, those Jeeps with the HO motors are pretty dang quick for what they are. I've personally beated a modded SS Camaro in one by 8-10 car lengths (because 4wd >> rwd on wet pavement [8D]) in one. It can probably run a high 14 at the track. That means you will have no trouble taking him by quite a bit of distance assuming you don't send up rooster tails at the starting line. Launch it well and it's over, or race from a roll and it's over before it starts.

i used to have a 4.0L cherokee and i always thought it wasnt a dog, they arent that heavy for an suv. i know a few guys that stroked them to 4.7L and were putting down good power, plus avenger makes a super charger for them to wake them up, talk about a sleeper at the track
