People race these things?

 

the truck will kill you...they can break 14s in the 1/4

 

Yeah those vortec 350's can move even in that big truck. He'll probably win. Race him and let us know what happens.

 

I drive the truck those and I also have a 89 5.0

 

Man, i wish my truck ran 14s. I have a 2000 Vortech and Your Stang can prolly take it. My 02 Brand new was Nose to Nose with it.

I had a 350 Z71 1999 and with full exhaust. It would take a 1996 V6 stang with 4.10's. Not saying the truck was fast but it would pick up pretty good!


150 hp 210 tq for stang
235 hp and 280 tq for truck
stang was a 17 sec 1/4 car (1995 was anyway)

it would be close but i think the truck has him to 95, then If I remember the truck would cut off at 98

 

Truck, my buddy has a 97 ext cab and we beat a 99+ V6 5 speed

 

lol thats what I was thinking. I can see wanting to race like a eclipse or a camry, but a truck? Unusual but it's a race I guess. And if the truck is supercharged, your toast. My buddy had a vortech charged chevy silverado1500, thing hauled ***.

 

why do you people always pick the most random cars to race? Who races a half tone chevy with the stock motor? na dwho races a v6 mustang? both you guys lose for being gay.
