That car will be comparable, if not slightly faster, than a stock STi.
Wow, I did not figure he was that fast. He's a wagon with a little more weight, so I figure it to be a mid 14 second car stock. With those mods I assumed he would be around a mid 13 or so. I wouldn't call him a great driver, but I assume a decent one. I know his car should definitely be faster than mine. I'm getting ready to put on an o/r x-pipe and 4.10's on my car later this month. I think this will put me in the 13's. Nitto d/r's and a tb/plenum combowill be coming very soon as well.

I just talked to him. For now he will be running 14 psi with a turbo-back exhaust, ecu flash, and an air filter. Where will this put him? Mid 13's? I'm sure he will beat me if we run, but it will be fun. IF we run it will be from a roll, and I figure the lower the better for me. What do you guys think?

Well, a stock WRX runs about 13.5psi, so he's not going to see much of a power gain if he's only running 14psi...

Well he must be leaving it there then. Before long he will bump it up to 17 psi, after he gets his other parts on. So a down pipe, cat-back, ecu, air filter, 17 psi on his '07 WRX wagon around where? Am I right in saying the lower we go from a roll, the better for me? I don't want his AWD to be of use, and I also don't want his turbo fully spooled.

Be a man and go from a dig. That's how all races should be won

You'll probably do a lot better than you think you're going to do. WRXs are not easy to launch, they're very easy to bog from a dig. Just practice your launch so you have the upper hand

I do agree with the whole dig thing, but I don't know of anywhere around here we can completely stop, thats all. If I could go to the track with him I would.

...or maybe we cn just have a burnout contest.......
