Really how simple? Any way look for the big stupid wing on the Balts, the supercharged version is the only one to get that treatment. A guy I work with has a Balt that ran a 12.8 with a 75 shot. There not bad but from everything I've read,the Stock motor doesn't hold to mods as well as other performance cars in that price range.

 

Well one thing is for sure, our ponies are way better looking!!!!!Cobalts are one UGLY car!!!!And I live in Lordstown where they build them!!!!

You have a long mod list but just a couple is power modI am surprised how this race was close, he should have put a few cars IMO.

 

ya there are definatly SS that arent supercharged, my friend has one.

 

The stock motors in the Cobalt SS/SC are pretty much bullet proof like the Terminators. I believe the only weak link is the rods, and for a few hundred dollars that can be fixed.

 

I wouldn't mind one as a daily driver they get pretty good mileage too don't they? But I would be concerned about them in the long run, my gf has a cavalier and it has not aged well

 

Yea thats sounds right. I've heard the rods are week and pistons may give some issues also.

 

it is all about who gets the girls. i dont see girls trying to hop in the cobalts ill tell you that. even if i did get burned by one of those i'd just say to the ladies i wasnt even trying i mean come on look at that thing.

 

If you want to get the girls, work on your pecs, not your ride. Chics dig muscles more than muscle cars.

 

those kids in cobalt **** me off thinking their car is tough but when you try to mess with them some dont want to. One kid in my town probly around 22 has one thats supercharged. i was on my way to tire depot for an alignment when i sped past one doing only like 50 in a 40. the kid pulls in my lane so i slow down alittle then so does he. I put my blinker on to turn into tire depot when i hear the b/v hiss and he flew past me....True ricer move.....I saw him later that day with my brother in law we tried to race in his titan...and i was surprised that his truck kept up pretty good for the short trip to the light.
