What year 3.8? If it's a 99-04 it should be a pretty good race. My best friend has an 03 with just full exhaust and a shift kit and it'llgive a 5.0 a run for it's money. If it's a 94-98 you're gonna slaughter him.

94-98, you got this, 99-04 should be a good race, but I think with your torque you'll get him.

You still havent raced this punk? I remember it though, cat backs(which are crap on anything, IMO) a CAI and i think short throw? If he can drive and his car is in good shape, should be very close race. It's all up to him, he has a lot more driving to do than you do.

yeah well CAI isnt really a MOD on a sixer,it does absoulutely **** to performance, exhaust and gears are more of a performance adders

You're going to stomp a mud hole in that little 3.8's ***. I was at the track this friday bracket racing and all of the 3.8 new edges were runninglow17'd, hell even the 4.0 S197's were running high to mid16's, there was a mostly stock fox 5.0 AOD car that I saw click off a low 16 (don't forget that I'm at a very high altitude and these times are way different than you sea level guys). My car when it had a few bolt ons ran a 15.6 up here in thefoothills lol. You have nothing to worry about.

Sh*tty elevation, sh*tty track, sh*tty drivers. Thats what about sums up 16 second 5.0 times and 17 second 3.8 times, and definately 16 second 4.0', LOL.

Ive heard of 4.0 cars in the mid to low 15s and 3.8 guys in the high 15 to low 16 range... against a 3.8 you should be be ok I think.
