my 300c is bone stock..its the 5.7l..u guys think a gt 99-04 will beat me it has nooooooo chance in hell..my gt might not beat it..i kept up with 2 camaros 1 of them was a terrible driver so he lost...trans am and camaro ss are exactly the same..i was gonna buy either a T/A or an ss but once i kept up with the ss i lost intrest in the car..im not talking out of my *** i raced them to know..i always thought that a camaro will kill my 300c but i was amazed they couldnt take me..these races were from about a 40-50 roll.. my friend and i raced an ss from a stop in his g35 and he was modifed we wouldnt have beat me by much...i thought ss were the best but not after i raced some..99-01 cobra lost to camaros i dnt know how it ****ed me over..he said its stock but it hadddd to be modified to do that he beat me by 2-3 cars...

You drive an overweight, underpowered pig. It's made for guys that want to drive their family around and still feel a bit of torque. Not to race.

A couple Mustang magazines have tested the stock LS1's to run in the 12's. Most run mid to low 13's, depending on where you live.Most dyno 300+rwhp stock. Mine made 325rwhp through an automatic and with exhaust as the only mod.

What do we need for your two camshafts and 3 valves per head? [8D]

 

+1 any dodge pruduct with a 5.7L is pretty slow and weighs a ton, I beat up on 5.7L GTO's, 5.7L chargers, and a 5.7L magnum by about 2 car lengths from a digand I was still pulling, this was in my basic bolt on 04 GT ... I raced a 6.0L GTO and a 6.1Lcharger once... remind me never to do that again

so unless a 300C 5.7L was given ungodly amounts of power apart from the charger and magnum 5.7L's, theres no way in hell you hung with anything like the stated

ill_Smoke_you, I'm going to go out on a huge limb here and guess that you don't possess a single timeslip for that 2-ton family car. If you did, the numbers in black and white would be a wake-up call for you.
Tell ya what, I know there's a very small chance that you live anywhere near St Louis but if you do I'll be going to Gateway International Raceway in about an hour. If you meet me there I'll pay your way in to race. We'll line 'em up and compare. I'll close my cutout to negate some of the exhaust work.

 

Yeah i would also like to see this 300c's track times if you have any and if the other guys knew that they were racing when you ran those cars....

 

i know its hard to believe but my 300c seriously is fast..my friend with a stick g thought he can take my 300c by 4-5 cars i left that g35 5 cars behind me and about 8 cars 0-100

 

HAHAHA... A G35 (save for the newest one) isn't exactly what you brag about to state your case against an S197 or an 'SS'

 

i like ss camaros and trans ams i was gonna get one..but i seriously did keep up with em..first 1 was the 2002 one and we both punched it in 3rd he got id say about 3 feet ahead and stayed that way then we raced again we stayed the same till 120 he pulled verrrrrryyyy lil but didnt pass me..2nd guy i raced was from 2nd and we went even then we messed up in 3rd he chirpped tooo much and lost by a lil more than half a car..i love camaro i know they can beat me 1/4 mile with the 300 but u guys think too lil of the 300c it seriouldy is fast and as far as the 99-04 gt goes ill **** a sstock one any way u put it if u guys live in cali wanna try my 300c vs a 99-04 gt anytime.
