Default DD with Drag Radials

Hey there just got my new Nitto 555r's DR's 275/40/17. I would like to know from experience whats a good RPM to do a good burnout but keep my stock rearend in tackt. I will going to the local dragstrip tonight the 1/8 mile track and would like to get a good 60' time. Not the 2.7 and 8s ive been runin

I could be wrong, but I don't think the burnout is what puts your rear end in danger. It is a hard launch.

It is the launch... what i would do is do a burnout until you see a bit of smoke - you wont need anymore then that.. then start out my launching at around 2500rpms, and go up 500rpms until you no longer bog...

Thats what I would do. Ive always been a auto/converter guy, since manuals are much harder on parts than autos.

Just got back from track did both burnouts in 2nd and 3000 rpms and it worked awsome only spun for around a half or 1 second at the line if that
