Default Racing help

I recently got a used black 02 Mustang GT manual transmission convertible with a custom exhaust and I have a few questions in regards to racing. I have starting up and stopping and hills down, but how do I start really quickly from a stand still? Last night at like 1 in the morning I was just cruising and this ******* in a Chevy pickup truck kept wanting to race, but I was hesitant because I have no clue how to start out extremely quicklyin a race, what gear to start in from a stop, when to switch gears when racing, etc. Can someone give me step by step instructions for a newb?

If you go from a dig (a stop) you will want to be in first gear and you will want to rev it up to about 2500 RPMs or so depending on your level of comfort in driving. When the race starts begin by sliding the clutch to lessen wheel spin while continuing to put pressure on the exceleratorand floor it as soon as the tires start sticking until 6000 rpmsor so then shift it into second, powershifting is helpful if you know how to do that, and repeat until race is over. I haven't driven a 2 valve but my 4 valve climbs and makes power past 6000 in second and third gear so if the 2 valves are similar you shouldn't have a problem taking it that high.

Rev to 4500 and dump the clutch, you will win.
