Slayed my first Honda!
I just purchased a 2003 GT w/5speed, took delivery on monday. I traded in a...you guessed it.... 2000 honda civic EX and yes it had mods. Didn't look so rice and it was alright in the speed area. I was able to take V-6 stangs that had minor mods with some diffculty. But it could be done.

Tonight I just happened upon a car with a similar set-up as my recently traded civic at a light. Of course I got the rev-ed motor from the civic. I gave the nod. The light switched green and we were off. I short shifted the motor at 4 grand cause she ain't fully broken in yet, and by the time I hit third the civic was so far back I just stopped racing.

It brought the biggest to my face. I can't belive I used to think my civ was even remotly fast. I love this mustang now more then I ever loved the civ. I can't wait to move onto better and bigger things with the 'stang. Can't wait to start moding and teach my F-body buddies in there place

A bit but I got over it quick. I started moding hondas long before it started got big here on the east coast and the people doing were few and far between. Now every car store's got somthing for the import and every teenager and the like doing it I just started to hate it. the races got stupid every one thought they were Vin or Paul Walker flashing green for a race. I too my share of that green from the kids before my hatch got stolen and burned and after that I never went back to race. Did a little work with the insurance money on the new honda and finshed paying for skool. With F&F and 2F2F changing the import scene I smartened up and came back to good ole americn muscule!

BTW- The hatch I owned would have given some stangs a run for there money

Sorry jeep...

I had a frankinstein engine block. It was an 1.8 LS bottom end from a integra, which is good for torque. GSR head P&P w/ valve job, type r cams with the goodies, type r intake and tranny overside TB poished. Forged pistons, knife edged crank. The car was stripped to the bare bones inside.

The car put 260hp to the ground w/ 230ft.lbs. The thing had wicked torque steer but hooked like a mother. Raced alot of cars when I was street racing and one 95% of the races.

I put8,000 grand in the motor only to have the car stolen, stripped (what was left) and burned. Decided that it was enough for me. I only got enough insurance money to cover the cost of replacing the base car.
