ok my girlfriends got a 07 mitsubishi eclispe auto 4cyl and shes sayn that it will leave my 02 v6 mustang(duals and cai). can she do it?

to begin,your girlfriends car should not even be close to being as fast as your car, does that not insult your man-hood? upgrade to the GT, why are you playing around with the v6... your better than that

It has a 2.4l 4 cyl with 162hp/162tq. The coupeweighs 3274 and add 200lbs to that for the vert. I couldn't find 1/4 mile times but it does 0-60 in 9.2 seconds if that tells you anything.

 

are you auto or manual? if your manual...get a tune and you got her for sure.

To the original poster--the 2.4 Eclipses are not fast at all...and the convertible is even slower. Is yours a 5 speed? Try and find a 0-60 or 1/4 times for her car and compare to yours.

 

Shes an auto and 4 cylinder, you definately have her. If she was a manual 4 cylinder, it would be close but I think you would get her. If she had a v6 with a manual, you would be murdered, LOL. The new v6 Eclipses with manuals run mid to low 14's stock.

I think you have her, and if by some chance she beats you, then you upgrade to a V8 and show her you still wear the pants in the relationship.
