Default Surprised a Supercharged Fox

I was driving home tonight on Randall going South when I saw a Fox Hatch ahead of me and heard him pretty good too, sounded very nice and healthy. I ended up behind him, he got on it a bit, when he hit 2nd gear the tail swept left a bit as it fought for traction,I stayed with him and went into the left lane when I had an opening. We nailed it at about 45 and I pulled about a car on him and when we slowed down he said he thought my car was fast, I tried to tell him same to you but he couldn't hear me. We tried a few times to talk and he finally could hear me, he asked me what I had and I told him a blower, he obviously had a blower as well but said he only had an XCam but I heard the blower so I'm not sure why he didn't own up to it.

Anyway it was a nice run and he had a very nice car which I'm sure was in the 12's so it would have been nice to line up with him at a light, he turned off before we could. If you're on this forum let me know, I'd like to see that car close up.

Nice kill, but if he only had a blower he was probably quite a bit lower in the hp department than you...but they are light

Nice kill either way!

Could have been a Gear Drive instead of timing chain? But you obviously woulde have poured it on him then. Nice kill!!

Sounds like an awesome run. I've had people think my fox was blown. Around 3.5-4K and up you can hear the air being sucked in the intake(which is still stock). Sounds similar to a SC and fools people who don't know any better[8D]

Gear drives have a constant to them, he was running eitherPaxton, ATI or Vortech and sounded much like mine as he was driving whine noise wiseand for all I know was sand bagging it, who knows? His car is much lighter so even if he was making less power he might have reeled me back in if we had a chance to run it for a longer period. I'm going to keep an eye out for him, I'd like to see it again, even if I lose to him.

I've seen blown Fox's run stupid numbers and then I've seen them run what a stock S197 would...you never know what you're gonna get.
