I agree with 07GrabberMustangGT, go from both...and have yourself some fun. I'll be a close race from a roll, but you have him if you can drive

Excuse my ignorance, but what is brake boosting?

I may be the minority here, but I think the SRT-4 has this one.

with my listed mods on the first post how much HP do you think i can make.o and i forgot to list that i have a cervinis fiberglass 2.5" cowl hood - +1 on weight for me. i think it will be a good race, well see what will happen. and wheres a better place to race for me, street or track, because of traction?

Race on the track if possible. That way you don't have to worry about cops or killing someone and you can concentrate on your driving. And those turbo cars shine on roll races, so if you go from a roll, you'll probably be taken. From a dig, it will come down to the driver, but I would give a slight edge to the SRT-4. Go prove me wrong though! Good luck and have fun.

I would say the srt will have the advantage from what I have seen at the track, but a well driven fox should be able to keep up at least especially with your modifications

Do you have ANY idea what kind of mods he has?

I don't think you mentioned in your first post. Oh, and a tip, "stock" never means stock

I would say the SRT 4 may have this one. From a roll, you are toast. From a dig, you have more of an advantage. THey really pull in the top end.

A blow off valve has no effect on performance or horsepower...if he changed the wastegate...that is different, because he can hold more boost.
If he is stock...maybe you have a chance, but if he is modded (and most are to some degree), he will probably kill you.
Be sure to run him from a dig and get a good jump on him (he will be spinning much more that you are). Truthfully, unless you get a really good jump from a dig...he will catch you and pass youbefore the end of third gear (SRTs pull very strongin 3rd). From a roll...they are pretty wicked...he will take you, by a lot probably.

his car is bone stock, except for this blow off valve that he put on. i herd that if you dont tune your car with a blow off valve that you can loose HP is that true?
