if you run into an S4 youre toast. if you run into their 30 valve 3.0 V6 it could be close, maybe a drivers race. if he has induction and exhaust youre done. you should handle an A4 they dont make over 190 to the crank if im not mistaken.

isnt it funny how we yearn for 4 valves, Audi is already making 5V motors... man Ford needs to play catch up

Even a chipped A4 isn't a straight line car. But get that thing in the twisties and call your day over. The A4's really shine on the Corners. I had an 03 1.8T quattro that was a blast to take in the Canyons.

The new 2.0T's are actually decent. They run like 15 flat 1/4. Obviously still an easy kill, but they'd hold their own against a pre-New Edge GT, or any Sixxer. And once mods come into play, they get pretty damn quick, pretty damn quickly.

There are no VW's that share the B7 platform that the new A4 uses. The 2.0T is a great motor with good power potential. But unless he has a ton of mods done to it, its not going to be close. Even a 3.0 A4 should still be pretty easy to beat. However an S4 would easily beat you, and you shouldn't even bother against an RS4.
