I don't think GM makes a 5.4L motor. I think they may have the 6.0 in them. Not too sure of the motor options for an Escalade.

ya new ones are like 403 or somin, ive driven one, not a slouch, but wouldnt be a match for even my bolted on v6.

Those came with 6.0L in them.
Suprised a V6 would take it, My GMC Z71 with a 5.3L can outrun my V6 mustang without much problem and the 6.0L packs more punch then the 5.3L
