Default Funny ricer story

I was riding back from the beach with 2 of my friends the other night. It was me and my friend Jeff in his 2000 Z28 M6 (lid and catback) and my friend Brian ( the quick single port '96 V6 i was talking about a while ago). Anyways we see this car flying up our @sses. It was some type of civic type Rand was turbo charged. Jeff slows down and lets brian go ahead and the civic gets next to him. They both take off and Brian hangs with him a bit and they let off (ricer hits flashers [&:])Jeff sees this and then trys to get next to the civic. About a car behind, the civic takes off, jeff drops a gear in the Camaro and passes him and puts like 5 cars on and shuts down. Civic flys by and puts the "win lights" on again. At the next light we get next to him and its some ghetto'd out dude with his girlfriend, looks over at me in the passenger seat and gives me the thumbs down, i yell over "How does it feel to get whooped by a stock Camaro?" and me and jeff start laughing at this tool.....light turns green, he rices out spinning his @ss off and we just roll out of the hole andfly past himyet again......so in conclusion, another honda with a turbo and money dumped into it that cant even hang with a stockLs1

It's always fun to show some dumb kid thats thinks's he's the sh*t just how slow they're 14 second carsreally are. But I never take a Honda for granted after I saw a CRX run a 10.5 @130something.

At the track there are consistently 6-8 stupid loud civics who do one wheel burn outs and run 10 second 1/8th miles. I keep wondering to myself if they realize the are loud, slow and everyone makes fun of them. But they keep showing up, so oh well...

Last night at the local 1/8th mile track there was a new Civic Si ,2 door running a10.01. Isn't the new Si the pinnacle of civic performance? Sad.

Might want to look at a few more runs from a different driver, they are supposedly high 14 second cars, but I would expect low 15s since launching FWD isn't in anyone's favor.

You are correct. There are some Integra Type R's in the U.S, but there arent any Civic Type R's, and if there is they are 1 in 1,000,000. A stock Civic Type R can run mid to low 14's stock and with a turbo, wouldbeat an LS1, just aslong as it was tuned right.

i know for a fact that a type r motor can be had for the right price, i know some jackasses around here that have 12k into the motor of their civic and make 400 hp apparently but somehow never have the dyno sheet to back it.......probably just a badge, which is par for your average ricer...and it was turbo, i know what a turbo sounds like.....and were talking about an LS1 here not a stang
