I'll try to make this short. What happened is...the 5.0 was left home. Why I don't know..I have an idea though.
The LT1 is so beat that it is literally impossible to "slam" through gears. 350z on the left, LT1 on the right, me about 1.5 car lengths behind the 350z. I was rollin' behind at about 35mph around 4,200rpms in 2nd gear. They got about a FULL SECOND jump on me before I took off. The 350z smoked the LT1 right away. I stayed right dead even up the 350Zs @$$ until about 100mph. I moved over into the right lane and started to walk up on him. By the time I was right by his back fender we were at around 120-125..then we ran outta road.
If we could have kept going, there is no doubt in my mind that by the time I would have gotten along side of him I would have WALKED by him pretty easily. In the end, i'm not the best driver in the world...but i'm not too bad either.
