The fact of the matter is that on this forum alot of ppl that look at a car that has less than 8cyl. and is front wheel drive are looked apon as a joke.......These FWD blown cars are a new breed that has come around in a relative short time and some ppl have began to start modifying them.......It's evident that they can be made quite fast (bluebeasts car for example) with the right setup.....I really think that we should give these littlecars their just credit when their owner decides to take these new mini-muscle cars to the next level...

I know plenty about my gears bro. I mean no disrespect. My buddy has an 05 stang gt right, comes with 3.30 gears, it topped at about 148 or so. He put 3.73 gears, and it topped about about 135, then he swapped those for 4.10's, for more accel. and it topped at almost 130 flat. I have had my stang up to about 145, the speedo was maxed, at 5,500 RPM, and still going. Nut sure exactly what speed, but, I know it was more then 145. I am sure your car can get up their. I meant compared to WHINE's SS, his would top higher then yours.

I was cruising in my Terminator Tuesday night. Some kid in a Cobalt SS comes flying up and gives me a rev...I rev back and he immediately swerves across 3 lanes of traffic to flip a bitch and head the other direction. Typical.

good post i agree im not trying to be fast or rub **** in people's face even though it seems that way, but it is kind of annoying when no one gives your car a chance cuz they think fwd=slow

The fact that he is over in the embarassment thread talking about how he beat non-pi auto gts from a 50 mph roll isn't doing much for his credibility either blue. Who boasts about something like that?

Why do you think your car is so fast? I'm guessing because of that 85mph trap in the 1/8. Here's my timeslip when i just had an intake and tune.
Now i'm not the fastest at shifting and I don't dare try and power shift. I know by the trap speed
the car is capable of a lower ET. I'm no genius when it comes to time slips, but I can see that I accelerated from 80-106 in 4.7 seconds and it took you well over 5 to go from 81-103. You can't blame that on traction and of course we can't blame your shifting because you've allready said you can shift.

sounds like a little pwnage there, dont worry I am sure he will be back here to tell you that 80mph plus is better for him on the street where he crushes auto non pi gt verts and 305 camaro and T/As
