I think the Vette is 3200lbs without driver? Mine is 4000 with me in it. I was told thatVette put down 400 rwhp, mine at the last dyno run was 449rwhp.

You sure he said 400rwhp and not 400bhp?? Stock they run with the mid 300's dyno in the midpart of 12's... If he had another 50rwhp, you definatly beat driver... Those cars (from what i hear really wake up modded)... I think he meant he had 400hp which is the stock crank hp...

If that C6 was putting 400 to the ground,he would have pulled on you....Rule of thumb, a C6 needs about 380whp to run with a 450whp Cobra.....

With 383rwhp my buddy ran 11.3 @ 123mph 1.7 60ft in a 2003 Z06.... Just for an example of what the platform 'before' the C6 could do.

Could have been BHP. He said it was stock. Looked like it was pretty new. I am not sure what my HP is now, I had a different pully that had belt slip. I changed that and added four idlers with a tensioner. It runs ALOT better than the last time it was on the dyno at 449rwhp.

if he said it was stock, he has 400bhp... and how much slip was there?what pulley do you have? belt slip won't really cause much power loss, but you probably saved a few ponies there...

Thanks, if you notice I did not heat the tires, he did. I watched and everyone that did thier tires were stuck with small fine gravel. They actually were waiting for me to do a burnout, I said nope, just race. As you can see he spun , mine was minimal. I was pretty sure I would win, But he asked and I was running out of time to find someone to race. We were only going to get one or two runs because they had 50 cars sign up and only two hours to have the road closed.
