c) Doodad-- The sound I indeed heard was a blower. It was a louder version of the c230, 320, e55, etc kompressors that I have ridden in and been around. It was so distinctive that one of my passengers that knows nothing about cars said, without any provocation, "Hey! That guys got a supercharger, wtf?" lol.

He mentioned he ran 13.3 @106 with the 20's and stereo in... so add 3 passengers to that andit explains the outcome of the race against a stock S550. If his car was set up for mid 12's then I have no doubt he would havebeat him easily but that wasn't the case. So a supercharged S550 would have wasted him with his 20's, stereo, and 3 passengers.

This all depends on how aggressive his boost is...To say that a Supercharger on a S550 is going to lay waist to a mid 12 second car is not entirely accurate...The AMG S55 is a S550 with the S/C and all the AMG trimmings and it's a mid 12 second car...

b) He had two passengers, I had three, so he weighed about 5000lbs to my 4500 in the trims we were in.
I think half a second up to 95 is a little more than 1.5-2 car lengths, last I checked.
I know it had a blower, but I doubt it had much boost. Nothing else seemed to have been done other than blackout/mostly-debadged, as I could hear the whine over even the exhaust.
Doodad--No comments about buffalo wings, esp at 1:30am, but the passenger did keep yelling about running "The 600" back at the house before they flipped a bltch right in front of a cop.
