Thats what I told him..

 

One of the tuners from the shop has a C5 Z06 with a twin turbo kit. He puts down 570 rwhp and a bit over 600 rwtq. You'd never know the car was modded by looking at it. He wants to run a C6 Z06 to see how he fares. I think he'd fare quite well.

My brother is looking at a TT kit for his Z06. $15,000 uninstalled but the kit includes EVERYTHING. But still. $15k? That's a lot of bread.

 

Nitrous...I showed you the car making 670 or so rwhp and like 700rwtq.....insane.

 

I'm with you - no way would put a TT on my Z06.

 

I would tell your brother not to do it! The aftermarket for the C6 Z06 a still developing. Some guys have FI systems on the Z06 butI would recommend seeing how the effect the engine long term.Let the guinea pigs blow their motors. Remember our engines are bored out pretty good. A few more bolt ons will get him right where he needs to be. Hell a cam will put him in there too. But going FI on the LS7 just doesn't make sense. GM could have easily supercharged it and put it in the new SS but they developed the LS3 for the purpose. The LS7 still costs around 14K. So the gains are not worth the risk.

Dude the first time I saw that wing, I wanted to rip it off his trunk and slowly burn it right in front of him. But it kinda grew on me..now it's not as ugly it was before.

 

Hmmm, with the numbers he's putting down........that park bench might actually be functional.
