Just got back from the dyno shop with the Z06. These are the same guys that modded and tuned by STI (XXTuning in CT). In fact they used the same Dynopack dyno. My brother and I took our Z's up to get them done. Both have no mods except for a Halltech intake.

My car's base was 483 rwhp - I forget the torque number. The tuner was very impressed with the intake and said that it definitely added some hp. He also said the stoock tune was very rich (as I has suspected).

My final numbers are 498.6 rwhp, 465 rwtq. He just couldn't get it to sqeak out 500 rwhp. Oh well What impressed me is the overall engine response from the tune. Granted it's only 15 hp, but I picked up power throughout the curve. The ride home was awesome. The throttle response is so much better. Check out this torque curve:



My brother ended up getting a Corsa exhaust and managed 507 rwhp. I am going to go back in a month and get the APS exhaust which the tuner said was the best one for the Z06. He said it's "nasty". I like nasty.

has anyone ever had their car dyno'd in reverse. I will race you bicketybam as long as you are going that direction. Nice numbers and nice cars!

 

It's load bearing, which I like. It bolts right onto your wheel hubs.

 

I plan on bringing it to Englishtown. I have never been to the track, so expect a ****ty time with a decent trap.
