yeah from what i hear you just have to heat them up pretty good and they grip
I went occasional 1.6's and constant 1.7's with that tire, nothing wrong with it. Big burnout til smoke is rolling and lay into it. Hell, that was before my car even made power....only like 370'ish/400'ish.

those are some good short times i might run my bro's 245/50/16 nittos for a few runs since he is on e.t. streets now

I don't think it matters what tires you have at lapeer that track is just to get the race bug out your system atleast for me. There was an ls1 there with slicks spinning bad through 1st gear after that he gripped good. Iwhine mine was the black one with the windows and lights blacked out as well. I have a cai,full exhaust, and nitrous. I am guessing as soon as I decide on a wheel and tire combo, bump up the nitrous, and get some more track experience mid to low 12s are in my forseeable future.

I can't speak personally about the BFG drag radial, but I like the MT dr much better than the Nittos for the track and the street. Of course, I don't drive my cars in the rain unless I get caught...the Nitto may be better in the rain.
