i've raced 3 S2000's officially, and messed around with countless others.

one was turboed, and pulled on me almost none. almost dead even >100. thats when i was stock. i blame his tune.


one had an intake. sounded mean but i had an intake/tune so it really didn't put up a fight, or at least the driver sucked.


other one was all stock. i was messing with him, getting in and out of the throttle, i truly manhandled him. i think it was one of the older ones.

Some of these cars are pretty stout, my bud with the Ls1 has a friend with a brand new one, he can beat the S2000 (ls1) but the S got another guy with a bone stock 5.7L GTO from a roll. I was pretty impressed.

 

If hes stock you won , just dont F*** up!

 

Hmmm...I would think you should have him no problem. I raced a S2000 that had exhaust and intake work done and I beat him from a roll pretty bad (5-6 CLs). I sprayed of course, but honestly either he really sucked at driving or something was drastically wrong with his car.

 

5-6 car lengths from a 40 roll with a 75 shot on your side.... pretty much equates to a close race between a non FI 2V.... trust me I had a basic bolt on 2V with 4.10's and raced shadowdrake which just had a catback and an untuned75 shot.... he put 3 lengths on me from 40-90and kept pulling after 90.... it's gonna be close from a roll

 

I have seen many 04's and below lose to the S2K's on youtube and other sites, but number-wise, the mustang should be a bit slower.

well, w/e, if he races from a roll, those light S2K's should win, so he better go from a dig if he wants a chance.

 

Dude I've seen videos of SRT-4's beating vipers & V06's on the SRT forum video sectionand Youtube. But I dont think a stock skittle will beat those cars. The S2000 is a low 14 second car. That Stang should also be a low 14 second car. but like you said whatever.
