driving around daytona looking for a bank( that i found out does not exist here) pulling up to a light i see a foxbody turning left, so i get behind him. from what i could see, d/r's and skinnies, looked to be stock exhaust, and gauges on the hood in front of him. so we take the left turn and i get next to him and we pace for about 1/2 mile . i finally honk to get his attention, and put up 3 fingers. then i proceed to honk. he jumped( not sure if he used to the 3 honk deal! oh well) and he pulled me slowly from 40 to about 75. then it went to one lane. so i follow him for about 5 miles, then we take a right. i get next to him again and give thumbs up. he rolls his window down and i say on 3 honks. this time from about 50 i get the hit( he was a lil delayed, cuz whenver i honk i delay myself. so there are no excuses.) i pull initially then i hang with him till i hit 3rd gear at 75ish. then he proceeds to slowly walk me, to about a good car lead at 90. we pull over and talk.
.........................he has a SN89 blower at 5psi, a 347 stroker, full msd, beautiful intake, 4.11's and weighed in at a whopping 2775 he said he ran it 5 years ago up north and ran a 12.2@ 124 on street radials (dunno) i believe it is a 110 mph car( in that area). anyway got his # and we are gonna go to the track once i get some d/r's, which will be this upcoming weekend.
.........................then after we get done talking, i head out and runa 05 v6 stang, from 45ish and walk him to 60 when i iet out. they pull up next to me and the dad said "it is my car, kid is just learning how to drive" .........i wonder if he thought... if he was driving the outcome would have been any different. and i even let them get the hit. oh well.

actually i was coming across and intersection ( they were at the light to turn, ) and i seen them staring at me so i threw a rev. then i see him flying up on me, so i knew he wanted some!

Thats funny... any fox with a 347 and a supercharger would kill any thing in its path, Ive seen foxes with 347's with slicks run 11's all day, and on top of that a blower, and weighing 2700lbs, he should run low 11's at sea level.Thats just NUTS

 

347's > ME, i am gonna build one over summer everytime i get extra cash. i know lots of low 11 347 NA foxes...

 

he did say that it was a "sn89 blower" so it is 15 years old. i am not sure what the sn89 means, but that is what i understood! anyway he says when it gets hot that it is pretty much useless!
