Well, since my rear end is in for an upgrade. I am thinking very hard about upping my gears from 3.73's to 4.10's. Also, instead of an Auburn, I am thinking about an Eaton Posi. What do all the track racers think? Will it improve my times at all with the 4.10's? Gas mileage is not a concern.

With the 3.73's, I was shifting into 4th at the end of the quarter. From what I have been told and read, it's best to be in the power band in 4th as you cross the 1/4. What are ya'lls thoughts?

I think 4.10 would be quicker in the 1/4.....but you'll have to bump up your rev-limiter to get through the traps. I go through the traps @ 6200 with 4.10's and 26" tires.
