I just went and test-fit the motor/tranny on the unwelded steel subframe, and this thing is already scary fast.
I also found out that I was wrong. It is a 2005 ZX6R, 636cc, 136hp and 52lbft torque. The steel frame will weigh about 65lbs when completed, or about 100lbs with a roll-cage and additional supports. The motor/tranny should only weigh 75lbs or so. We are looking at a 136hp car that will weigh 200-220lbs dry, and a tad over 400lbs wet and loaded!

I just finished the chassis/roll cage yesterday, for anyone that cares. I will be welding steel plates to the frame today, and mounting the motor/tranny by the end of the week.
It weighs approximately 100lbs right now, and we threw it off the roof onto pavement to prove that it could handle an impact and not budge. I love my Miller mig welder!
