camaro time!!!!!!
lol, yeah, perhaps, but it's true. Honestly, if someone just haded you a 450hp LS Camaro, how much would you respect it? Not as much as if you build it up yourself over time. It's more of a sacrafice that way, you learn to appreciate it more, and you're more familiar with it. Also, it gives you a chance to get good at driving your car, then adding, then getting good at driving it with the mods etc. You over time get comfortable with it in small stages. Makes it easier to handle the power once you get there(not that it doesn't have power now)
Don't rush in, but use the time to figure out what you want to do with it, and start looking at and learning about the stuff available for it, that way when the time comes you're most prepared, select the right parts, and you're not dissapointed, you'll have realistic expecations that'll be met

Just leave it as is.... I enjoy having 30mpg and the only issues my 2001 has had was a popped 5th gear synchro (which I killed racing a modded evo from 60 ~ 150mph).... the essential mods are already done for you anyways.
BTW...what year?
