well today i finally got to pick up my camaro z28 ls1, its a m6 with slp lid, cat back and subframe connectors. on the way home my dad was driving just ahead of me in our focus and he called and said he would go up a head a little ways to make sure there were no cops or traffic so i could open it up a little bit. man is this thing night and day diffrent from my old 99 gt. im heading to milan dragway on the 15th, hopefully i can hit some mid to low 13's but im not getting my hopes up, i figure its a new car and i gotta get used to it. sorry if this sounds spuratic, im just excited to drive it somemore tomorrow.

 

Nice ride!!! Get real good with it and maybe you can pull a 13 flat or even dip into the high 12's. It's not unheard of with just exhaust/intake on an LS1.

 

ive only been to the track one other time, and i was pullin some nasty bad 60 foots lol, the guy i bought the car from is actually gunna sell me some nitto drag radials for 150 almost brand new, i looked at them today while i was picking the car up, i just had to wait another pay check or two, so that should help

 

looks like a beautful car. You got any plans for her?

 

right now i think she will stay the same for a lil while, maybe get some long tubes and some suspension mods next winter while she is out of comission.

 

Cam it! CAM IT!!!! lil bit oh head work perhaps, a good cam, get that sucker turning some quick et's even on street tires

 

the rents wont let me cam it yet, they said i need to save my money for school. which to be honest is probably the best choice but who knows in a year or two from now

 

LT's, suspension and maybe some gears before you get inside the engine

LS's got a lot of potential. In time though, you gotta learn to be patient
